EDSE 380 - Principles of Teaching in the Secondary School |
Combines theory and practice of teaching at the secondary level. Includes the study of instructional strategies, evaluation, curriculum development and organization, learning styles, technology, legal issues, and classroom management. Intensive in-school assignments, observations, participation, and direct contact with adolescents required. Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson. Parallel: EDJH 385.
