TCOM 384 - Electronic Media Law
Examines the relationship between the government and the electronic media in the United States. History and philosophy of the regulatory process and its effects on traditional and emerging media. TCOM majors and minors may earn credit in only one of the following courses: TCOM 384, NEWS 409, NEWS 449. Prerequisite: TCOM 101, junior standing. Open only to approved telecommunications majors and minors, and business analytics majors with telecommunications concentration.

May not be enrolled as the following Classifications:     
      Sophomore
      Freshman

Prerequisites:
(Undergraduate level TCOM 101 Minimum Grade of C or Undergraduate level JOUR 101 Minimum Grade of C) and Undergraduate level TCOM 204 Minimum Grade of C and (Undergraduate level TCOM 206 Minimum Grade of C and Undergraduate level TCOM 207 Minimum Grade of C and Undergraduate level TCOM 284 Minimum Grade of C) or Undergraduate level JOUR 101 Minimum Grade of C
