ACR 224 - Metals: Introduction to Enameling
Introduces the process of fusing glass to metal. Students will be exposed to the medium as an alternative mark-making/painting process as well as a vehicle for object making and jewelry fabrication. Historical as well as contemporary examples will be studied in order to create a contextual basis for the work explored in the course. The discussion of such works will help to develop skills in critical thinking. Prerequisite: ADS 101 and 102 and 103 and AFA 101. Open only to School of Art majors and minors.
