JOUR 382 - Media Theory and Research
Discussion of media theory and its role in strategic communications research. Emphasizes survey research, questionnaire construction, interviewing techniques, attitude measurement, copy testing, audience analysis, computer database searches, evaluation of externally supplied research, and data interpretation. Prerequisite: BA 305 or JOUR 250 or JOUR 261 or TCOM 345. Parallel: JOUR 101. Open only to students pursuing a program in the journalism department.
