An introduction to the management of special events including conventions, professional, and social meetings. Emphasis on fiscal responsibilities, logistics, and space allocation. Open only to hospitality and food management majors, hospitality management minors; geography concentration 2: travel and tourism; advertising: event planning and management; public relations: event planning and management.
