PEP 291 - Motor Development and Learning Across the Lifespan
Introduction to motor development and motor learning across the lifespan emphasizing major theoretical viewpoints; factors affecting motor development including physiological change, perceptual change, cognitive change, sociocultural practices, and intervention; and instruction and assessment of fundamental motor patterns in a laboratory setting. Includes laboratory experience. Prerequisite: PEP 161; permission of the coordinator. Open only to physical education and health teacher education majors, kinesiology minors, and coaching minors.
