CHEM 627 - Environmental Chemistry
Designed to provide graduate students from Biology, Chemistry, and Environment, Geology, and Natural Resources with in-depth understanding of the different types of environmental contaminants and the range of analytical methods available to detect and monitor their levels in different media. This includes fundamental and applied chemistry topics relevant to the environmental sciences. Knowledge of college level general and organic chemistry is recommended. Prerequisite: permission from the chair of the Department of Chemistry is required.
