NUTR 446 - Medical Nutrition Therapy 1 |
An introduction to the principles of medical nutrition therapy. Provides a comprehensive review of disease pathophysiology and treatment with a focus on evidence-based nutritional care using the Nutrition Care Process. Prepares students for success in clinical practice settings, including supervised practice programs. Prerequisite: NUTR 360 or permission of the department chairperson. Open only to students admitted into the dietetics program.
