DANC 130 - Introduction to Jazz 1
An introduction to jazz dance technique and theatre movement for the non-dancer. Emphasis is placed on the study of various jazz styles and philosophies, for example the Luigi technique. These can be used for theatre dance or athletic warm ups and can be applied to all learning and performance situations. Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson. A total of 3 credits may be earned, but no more than 1 in any one semester or term.
