MUST 560 - Composing for Visual Media |
Introduces students to music composition for visual media. Students learn about the history of music for film, film production and schedules, how music serves the story in various media, how technology can be used, syncing and timing, and special considerations for television and game music. Additionally, there is an introduction to the business aspects of composing for visual media. Students will complete creative projects with practical application to visual media.
Prerequisite: Pass placement test or a grade of C or better in MUST 601 or permission of instructor
