GEOG 250 - Spatial Analytical Methods in Geography |
Serves as a basic introduction to the quantitative methods employed by geographers to describe, analyze and interpret geospatial datasets. Lecture topics will include basic descriptive statistics, hypothesis formulation and testing, sampling strategies, geographical association and correlation analysis, regression, and a multivariate statistics overview. Prerequisite: MATH 108 or or MATH 110 or MATH 111 or MATH 112 or MATH 113 or MATH 114 or MATH 125 or MATH 132 or MATH 161 or MATH 162 or MATH 165 or MATH 166. Open only to geography majors and minors.
