THEA 328 - Voice Lesson |
One private half-hour lesson, and 2-hour master class weekly (1 credit) or 60 minutes of lessons and a 4-hour master class weekly (2 credits). Students study musical theatre, Italian and English art song repertoire. Freshmen study contemporary musicals; sophomores study musicals of the 1960s-1980s; juniors/seniors study musical theatre repertoire from the early 1900s-1960s. Prerequisite: studio assignments given by the musical theatre concentration coordinator. A total of 8 credits may be earned, but no more than 2 in any one semester or term. Open only to musical theatre concentration students.
