Addresses issues for professionals working with families with diverse cultural customs, beliefs, and values. Content includes the principles, processes, and key concepts involved in child rearing practices, coupling and marital processes, and general family dynamics in a cross-cultural perspective. Emphasis is on issues related to ethnic diversity, immigration, and other key concepts to consider when working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Prerequisite: ECYF 250.
