CPSY 351 - Diversity in Counseling |
Students will explore their own identity, the intersection of multiple identities, and the ways in which their culture and context shaped their identity. Additionally, students will build expertise in counseling people of African American, Latinx/Hispanic, Asian, and American Indian heritage. Students also will explore the identities of others such as those related to culture, national origin, language, physical appearance and ability, gender identity, sexual orientation, spirituality, and SES.
