CHEM 463 - Principles of Biochemistry 1
Structure, function, chemical, and physical properties of proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and lipids with an emphasis on enzyme kinetics and regulation. For chemistry, life sciences, and pre-health profession majors. Three hours of lecture weekly. Prerequisite: CHEM 232 or CHEM 235 with a grade of C- or better.
