CHEM 636 - Advanced Organic Chemistry
Topics include nomenclature, bonding, acids and bases, sterochemistry, structure-reactivity relationships, and mechanisms of important reactions. Introduction to synthesis, the disconnect approach, synthons, protecting groups, and functional group interconversions. Prerequisite: CHEM 232 or 235 or equivalent.
