EDMU 205 - Introduction to Multicultural Education |
Designed to expose students to a variety of literature and clinical experience that help students deconstruct privilege, institutional racism, exceptionalities, linguistic diversity, subtractive beliefs, LGBTQ issues, and other forms of isms and phobias relative to human diversity. Addresses the need for intercultural competence, culturally informed pedagogy, high expectations, and promotion of social justice.
