GEOG 434 - Maps, Environment, and Society |
Focuses on innovative mapping approaches beyond conventional map-making. During the semester, students will discuss current topics such as participatory mapping, critical cartography and possible interfaces between cartography, social sciences, humanities, the broader society and the environment and explore online mapping techniques, technologies, and tools.
