PHYC 101 - Physical Science Concepts for Teachers
Includes a survey of physical science concepts with a conceptual emphasis on forces, motion, and types of energy - mechanical, thermal, wave, sound, light, chemical, electrical, and magnetic - and their production, conservation, and transformation. Emphasizes applications appropriate to the k-6 classroom. Designed primarily for students in elementary education programs. Includes a laboratory component.
