Emphasis on profiling the language and communication characteristics of various populations
(e.g., neonates, autism spectrum disorders, specific language impairment) of young children seen in SLP. Contemporary assessment and intervention practices are reviewed, pertinent to evaluating the efficacy of communication treatment through participation and quality of life outcomes. Open only to SPAA graduate students.
