SPCE 400 - Mathematics Interventions for Students with Disabilities |
Introduces academic standards, scope and sequence, instructional materials, and assessment. Describes the components of mathematics instruction, including designing, implementing, and assessing instructional programs for learners at the elementary and secondary levels. Emphasis is on creating adaptations and using research-based methodologies for students with a wide range of impairments including cognitive, sensory, and physical. May not be substituted for MATH 391.
Prerequisite: MATH 207 with a C- or better grade or both MATH 201 and 202 with a C- or better grades; completion of Decision Point 1.
