ENG 350 - Teaching Writing in Secondary Schools
Concentrates on materials, methods, and resources used in teaching composition and the use of performance assessments in the English Language Arts classroom. Additional focus on technology and multimedia in practice, introduction to pedagogical practices and curriculum development. Required of teaching majors; may not be applied toward other departmental programs. Prerequisites: ENG 150, ENG 220, ENG 230, COMM 210, COMM 220, EDMU 205, and EDPS 251, with a C or higher in each. Parallel: EDJH 385.
