HIST 470 - Senior Seminar |
An investigation in some depth of a historical topic, culminating in an individual capstone project that demonstrates command of 1) historical research methods; 2) the relevant scholarly literature; 3) historical interpretations and analysis; and 4) historical writing. Topics will vary by section and will be announced in advance by the instructor. Required of all concentration 1 majors. Prerequisite: completion of HIST 200; and senior standing or permission of the department chairperson. Open only to history concentration 1 majors.
