MATH 393 - Teaching and Learning Mathematics in the Middle School |
Introduction to national and state mathematics standards, curricular materials, instructional materials and methods, and assessment related to topics taught in middle school mathematics. Prerequisite: for teaching major in mathematics concentration 1 or concentration 2, MATH 250 with a grade of C- or better; for middle school/junior high mathematics license, MATH 202 with a grade of C- or better; permission to enroll in 300/400-level professional education courses. Parallel: EDJH 385.
