MDIA 204 - Media and Culture Studies |
Students will consider media as an interactive process and be empowered to make the shift from passive consumers of culture to active critics, including exploring how different culture and identity groups are represented in American media and how those representations have changed over time.
Prerequisite: MDIA 101 or TCOM 101 or JOUR 101.
Open only to approved Media or Telecommunications majors and minors.
