NUR 402 - Adult Health 3
Expands focus on health promotion, disease prevention, risk reduction, and nursing care of adults with acute/chronic/disabling conditions across the lifespan. Includes emphasis on critical thinking, communication, diversity, and further professional role development. Learning experiences in classroom, laboratory, hospital, and community settings. Additional fees may apply. Prerequisite: NUR 322, 340, 370; NUR 314 or PSYS 241 or SOC 382; all of these courses must have a grade of C or better; permission of the director of the school. Parallel: NUR 404, 406. Open only to nursing students.
