ACC 610 - Financial Analytics |
This course provides students with data analytics skills for financial analysis and decision-making in accounting and finance settings. Students learn how to extract, clean, manage, and analyze financial data and communicate the results of their analysis in an efficient and effective manner. Emphasis is placed on identifying implications and communicating relevant results. Students will leave the course with the ability to identify a problem or opportunity, collect relevant data, analyze it, and communicate the conclusions efficiently and effectively. Prerequisites: ECON 221 or DSCI 602 Min Grade C- or by permission of the department chair.
