Effects of physical and biotic conditions on the distribution, abundance, and diversity of plants and animals. Dynamics of ecological systems at population, community, ecosystem, landscape, and global levels, and from an evolutionary perspective. Practical applications of ecological knowledge to environmental problems. Prerequisite: BIO 112.
