This is a jazz class aimed at growing the beginner Jazz student and building on Basic alignment skills and motor skills learned previously. Students will develop an appreciation for the history and lineage of jazz dance.
Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson; successful completion of a placement examination.
Only open to Theatre majors with a Musical Theatre concentration and Dance majors.
A total of 6 credits may be earned, but no more than 2 in any one semester or term.
