ECYF 465 - Advanced Child Development in Practice and Play |
Faculty-guided professional experience working with young children in a developmentally appropriate early care environment. Students complete 200 hours, including scheduled staff and training meetings at the Mitchell Early Childhood and Family Center. Because this course involves working with children, special eligibility requirements apply. Students must complete a drug screen, TB test, and be fingerprinted for a background check for this course. Prerequisites: ECYF 100 or FCFC 100 or SPCE 201 or EDEL 100; ECYF 265, ECYF 275, and permission from department chairperson.
