IDES 362 - Interior Construction, Building Systems, and Regulations |
The study of interior construction/building systems, environmental systems/regulations, and construction of partition walls, ceilings, and floors. Covers principles of lighting, acoustic, thermal comfort, indoor air quality, structural systems, distribution systems (power, HVAC, mechanical, data, and plumbing), and regulations (codes, standards, and guidelines). Prerequisite: IDES 224. Open to Interior Design Majors and Interior Design Minors only.
