NEWS 221 - Journalistic Storytelling: Covering Issues
Developing issue-based news stories from idea to final presentation using traditional and emerging media technologies. Emphasis on topics related to the community, government, and the courts. Students enrolled in the Department of Media's Multimedia and Broadcast Storytelling concentration or the telecommunications major news concentration must earn a C or better in this course. Prerequisite: NEWS 105 and NEWS 133; or CCIM 125 Open only to students in any program in the School of Journalism and Strategic Communication or students enrolled in the Department of Media's Multimedia and Broadcast Storytelling concentration or the telecommunications major news concentration.
