Introduces the theories, analytical techniques, policy contexts, and practices of economic development planning. A diverse range of local economic development programs are reviewed and assessed. By the end of this course, students will possess the skills necessary to effectively apply their acquired knowledge in the development of economic plans for real-world regional or local economies.
