SPCE 271 - Introduction to Mild Interventions
The study of the psychological, environmental, behavioral, and cultural factors that contribute to mild disabilities. Foundations of special education are reviewed. Includes legal responsibilities of schools, eligibility, evidence-based practices, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Individual Educational Programs (IEP). Prerequisite: SPCE 201.
