SPCE 271 - Introduction to Mild Interventions |
The study of the psychological, environmental, behavioral, and cultural factors that contribute to mild disabilities. Foundations of special education are reviewed. Includes legal responsibilities of schools, eligibility, evidence-based practices, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Individual Educational Programs (IEP).
Prerequisite: SPCE 201.
