SPCE 377 - Educating Children and Youth with Severe Disabilities |
Introduces future teachers to students who require severe interventions. Contemporary best practices and standards in integration opportunities, curriculum design, and positive supports for challenging behavior are presented and applied at the early and middle childhood developmental levels.
Prerequisite: Completion of decision point 1; 3.0 overall grade-point average; grades of C or better in SPCE 201 (SPCE 302 for elementary education and secondary content area program)
