PLAN 105 - Introduction to Physical Planning Processes |
Introduction to theoretical and practical tools for a beginning exercise in physical planning. Use of quantitative, mapping, and qualitative processes for making an assessment and proposal for physical changes to a chosen site in a chosen neighborhood.
Prerequisite or parallel: PLAN 100
Students interested in majoring in urban planning may take this course in place of the first-year program of the College of Architecture and Planning (CAP 100, CAP 101, CAP 161, ARCH 100 and LA 100) although they must still earn 120 credit hours to graduate.
Course is visual in its delivery and study. Access to a personal computer and internet is necessary.
