ECON 116 - Introduction to Economics
Introduction to Economics explores basic economic principles with real-world implications and immerses the student in practical problem-solving and decision-making. The student will learn and apply essential economic knowledge to understanding global, national, and personal challenges. We will investigate the pivotal role of economics in business, nonprofits, society, and government. Topics include supply and demand, consumer behavior, public policy, resource allocation, money and banking, employment, and the global economy. Not open to students who have credit in ECON 201 or 202.
