Comprehensive exploration of the practical and theoretical competencies necessary for current and future success in the area of sport facility management. Topics covered include history of sport facilities, facility planning and construction, management of specific types of facilities, box office management, house and ground management, systems management, marketing, and finance and personnel administration.
Prerequisite: SPTA 190 with a minimum grade of C-. Open only to Sport Administration Majors, Sport Administration Minors, and Sport Event and Facility Management Minors.
