ACC 260 - Accounting Applications for Small Business |
This course equips students with applicable knowledge and skills for accounting roles in corporations, focusing on smaller businesses. Throughout the semester, students apply understanding of financial accounting to the cycle and recording of transactions for small business using popular accounting software. Through hands-on activities, students learn the importance of internal controls, steps in closing the accounting period, and the processes and taxation of payroll. Prerequisite: ACC 200 or ACC 201.
