This course will introduce the concepts, practices, and technologies used to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organizational resources accessed through information technologies. Topics may include computer network defense; network security threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks; network security controls, protocols, and devices; network security policy, design, and implementation; physical security; host security; secure firewall configuration and management; and wireless network defense. Prerequisite: minimum grade of C in CS 203.
