Intermediate to advanced level study of dance forms from the Broadway and nightclub stage and their historical origins. Emphasizes technique using styles and repertoire of contemporary choreographers who have made major contributions to the art of musical theatre dance. Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson. A total of 6 credits may be earned, but no more than 2 in any one semester or term.
