| EXSC 304 - Motor Skill Acquisition and Control |

Motor behavior provides an examination of the motor and cognitive characteristics of individuals involved in the control, development and learning of motor skills and the conditions that can influence movement. The course is primarily concerned with the question of how humans learn motor skills and the ways in which complex movements are controlled and coordinated. An understanding of the basic physiological and psychological processes involved in learning and control of movement will help professionals provide better instruction and practice conditions for the performer throughout the stages of motor skill acquisition.
Prerequisites: EXSC 190 Min Grade C; EXSC 292 or ANAT 201 Min Grade C; or permission of the program coordinator.
Open only to Exercise Science Majors and Kinesiology minors. Exercise science majors may repeat only once.
