ACR 312 - Ceramics: Throwing |
An introduction to the techniques and skills in ceramic wheel throwing. A series of projects organized around these techniques acquaint the student with the nature of clay and wheel processes. Basic firing techniques will also be introduced. Student who repeat the course will continue to develop wheel throwing with an emphasis on the exploration of techniques to aid in developing personal content and surface development within the same assignment structures. A total of 9 credits may be earned, but no more than 3 in any one semester or term.
Prerequisite: ACR 211 or by permission of instructor.
Open only to School of Art majors and minors.
