HHUM 350 - Rhetoric of Health and Medicine |
This course examines how medicine is shaped by institutional texts of the medical industry and popular texts about health and medicine in society. Students will examine genres of writing in the medical profession and the role of narrative in patient advocacy. Students will analyze the rhetorical construction of health, illness, and medicine in the public sphere.
