Provides a theoretical understanding of behavior in children and youth in the school setting. Addresses the components of a functional behavior assessment and how to develop support plans using positive behavior interventions. Discusses ways to prevent challenging behavior through effective instruction and the need for collaboration between families and schools in meeting students' needs.
