ADPR 382 - Strategic Communication Theory and Research |
Focuses on social scientific inquiry as a way of knowing in the context of strategic communication. Students examine theories and research methods as tools of social science. Students examine theoretical perspectives and research methods from mass communication, advertising, and public relations, which are most relevant to strategic communication. The course additionally introduces applied research methods in the context of strategic communication.
Prerequisite: BA 305 or ADPR 250 (or JOUR 250) or ADPR 261 (or JOUR 261) or MDIA 345 (or TCOM 345).
