Helps students understand the organization and administration of public health agencies and non-profit health agencies at the national, state, and local levels. Effective advocacy strategies, the importance of cultural competence, building and sustaining successful coalitions, and group facilitation techniques are addressed. The preparation of grant proposals and competencies of health education professionals are also addressed.
