In this course, students use their skills acquired throughout their course of study to conduct analysis, research, and synthesis in the field of cultural studies, linguistic, or literary studies.
The course is offered yearly and will alternate between topics focusing on linguistics or literary/cultural studies. Nonetheless, topics will be broad enough for students to follow their interests in coursework, be they linguistic or literary/cultural in nature. Taught in English.
Prerequisites: 90 credit hours completed
ML 401 with linguistic focus: ML 101 and one of the following: AR 334, CH 334, FR 303, FR 337, GER 337, JAPA 337, SP 337, SP 340
ML 401 with literary/cultural studies focus: ML 101 and one of the following: AR 334, CH 334, FR 334, FR 335, FR 360, GER 334, GER 335, GER 361, GER 362, GER 363, JAPA 205, JAPA 250, JAPA 334, JAPA 401, SP 335, SP 361, SP 362
