The study of federal statutes, case law, state regulations, and related historical events regarding protections for individuals with disabilities in access to educational opportunity.Definitions, procedural requirements, and legal safeguards of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) as implemented in Indiana under Article 7 will be addressed.
Prerequisite: completion of Decision Point 1.
