ADPR 405 - Public Relation Case Studies
A student-led discussion format enhances students' abilities to think critically, view public relations as a strategic function, and analyze decisions made by strategic communication professionals. Students apply theories and principles of public relations, management, public opinion, change management, crisis management, and issue management in discussion and critical analysis of case studies from the professional world including crisis communication, media relations, strategic communication planning, community engagement, corporate social responsibility, and activism. The development of alternative scenarios further prepares students to think and act as strategic communication professionals. Prerequisite: ADPR 261 (or JOUR 261)
